Tuesday, 15 April at 5pm - NSWBAR Common Room - Pafburn Pty Limited v The Owners - Strata Plan No 84674 [2024] HCA 49 and the Design and Building Practitioners Act 2020 (NSW): a view from the Bench and the Bar.
The Practice Development Committee invites barristers to attend a CPD seminar and catered networking event, to which leading solicitors in the construction and technology space have also been invited, on Pafburn Pty Limited v The Owners - Strata Plan No 84674 [2024] HCA 49 and the Design and Building Practitioners Act 2020 (NSW).
The seminar will be a chance to hear from the Technology & Construction List judge the Honourable Justice James Stevenson, as well as Gregory Sirtes SC who appeared for the respondent in Pafburn. The seminar will also provide an opportunity to network with the solicitors who attend as well as other barristers.
Drinks and refreshments will be served for a networking hour after the seminar
