NSW Bar Association Open Day for Women and Gender Diverse Law Students

The NSW Bar Association Diversity & Equality Committee & the Women Barristers Forum are pleased to host the Open Day for women and gender diverse law students on Thursday, 15 October 2026.
The Open Day provides an invaluable opportunity for women and gender diverse law students to hear from judges and barristers about their day-to-day practice. If you are considering a career at the Bar or are interested in advocacy, the Open Day is a great opportunity to meet barristers and judges and learn more about a career at the NSW Bar.
The timetable for the day is as follows:
8:15 am Arrivals at the NSW Bar Association Common Room
8:30 am Welcome, Mr Michael Izzo SC, Senior Vice President
8:35 am Panel Discussion with the Honourable Justice Elizabeth Raper, the Honourable Justice Rachel Pepper, her Honour Judge Christine Mendes, chaired by Juliet Curtin.
9:35 am – 12:00 pm Tours to Courts and Barristers' Chambers
12:00pm Close
