Book Launch: Ian Barker QC, Prince of Barristers

 

 Members are invited to attend the launch of Stephen Walmsley’s book, ‘Ian Barker QC, Prince of Barristers’ in the Bar Association’s Common Room

 

Ian Barker QC was a former President and life member of the Association.

The author, a retired Judge, has written what is partly a biography of Ian Barker QC and partly a socio-legal history based on Barker’s career. The Hon Virginia Bell AC SC has written the foreword to the book and will be speaking at the book launch. 

Copies of the book will be available to purchase at the launch and at the publishers e-store

 

 

WEDNESDAY 20 NOVEMBER, 5PM FOR A 5:15PM START
