How do I register?

Please click the grey register buttons available throughout the page OR follow this link here. 
To register, enter your contact details, select your registration type, add any additional details if required and complete the remainder of the form.

How can I register on behalf of someone attending?

Please enter their first name and surname and then add your email address. All confirmation documents, including the invoice will then be sent to you.

How can I pay for events?

Payment methods accepted - Credit Card (processed online) or EFT.
Please note that your registration will not be confirmed until payment has been received by the NSW Bar Association.

  • Credit Card payments can be made online - VISA, MasterCard and AMEX payments are accepted
  • EFT Details - BSB: 082 080. Account Number: 509106596. Reference: Invoice Number
Once you have registered, you will receive an email from events@nswbar.asn.au confirming your registration has been received. A tax invoice will be attached to your confirmation email.
Please note that should you be making an offline payment, registrations will only be confirmed once the payment has been received.

Where can I add my dietary requirements?

During the registration process there is a question regarding dietary requirements. If the registration deadline has passed, please contact Events at events@nswbar.asn.au OR (02) 9232 4055.

My availability has changed and I can no longer attend the event - how do I cancel?

Registration fee refunds will be available for delegates who are unable to attend after booking, until the registration deadline (see below the deadline dates), on the following terms:

  • Refunds requested more with more than 1 weeks’ notice to the event will be granted less a 10% administration fee
  • Refunds requested with less than 1 weeks’ notice will be assessed on a case by case basis
Applications for refunds should be made in writing to events@nswbar.asn.au
All refunds will be issued within one month of the conclusion of the event.

In the unlikely event that the event is cancelled by the organisers, all relevant fees will be refunded less a 10% administration fee, to cover costs incurred in the establishment of the event only.

What is the registration deadline date?

  • Newcastle Conference - Deadline Friday 15, February
  • North Coast Conference - Deadline Friday 22, February
  • Orange Conference - Deadline Friday 1, March
  • Parramatta Conference - Deadline Friday 15, March
  • Sydney Conference - Deadline Friday 22, March

Can I still register after the RSVP date?

If places are still available, you can register by contacting Events by email or by phone on 02 9232 4055 to process your request. Please note this incurs a late fee of $30.00 per registration.
