HOW DO I REGISTER ON BEHALF OF SOMEONE ELSE?

Follow the prompts to the ticketing page, once there, enter their contact details into the relevant fields. Please note that all confirmation materials will be sent to the initial email address provided.

WHAT IS THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE? 

The registration deadline will be released when ticket purchases are made available. All information is available on the "Tickets" page. 


I DIDN'T RECEIVE MY CONFIRMATION EMAIL, WHAT DO I DO?

If this occurs please contact our Events Department via email by forwarding a message to events@nswbar.asn.au   


WHERE CAN I ADD MY DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?

When you select the number of tickets you require you will be asked for contact information and dietary requirements, both your own and any guests.

MY AVAILABILITY HAS CHANGED, HOW DO I CANCEL?

Refunds will be available for guests who are unable to attend after booking as per the Events Refund & Cancellation Policy (see below).


HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY TICKET(S)?

The NSWBA accepts payments via the Registration Page by EFT (Direct Deposit) as well as a Credit or Debit Card.
Accepted cards are AMEX, VISA and MasterCard. Your invoice will have the Direct Deposit Details located in the bottom left corner.

MY SEATING REQUESTS HAVE CHANGED, WHAT DO I DO?

If your seating requests have changed please send an email to our Events team at events@nswbar.asn.au so we can add it to your profile notes. We will do our best to accommodate all requests.

CAN I STILL REGISTER AFTER THE DEADLINE?

If places are still available registrations will be available after the deadline, plus a $30 late fee PER ticket. Please contact the Events Department to process this request at events@nswbar.asn.au 

Event Terms & Conditions:

Registration fee refunds will be available for attendees who are unable to attend after booking, until the registration deadline (see event page for details), on the following terms:

  • Refunds requested with more than 14 business days’ notice to the event will be granted less a 10% administration fee
  • Refunds requested with less than 14 business days’ notice to the event day will be assessed on a case by case basis
  • There is no Right of Transfer for any ticket without Written Approval from the NSWBA Event Team

Applications for refunds MUST be made in writing to events@nswbar.asn.au

In the unlikely event that the event is cancelled or your right of entry is rescinded by the organisers, all relevant fees will be refunded less a 10% administration fee, to cover costs incurred in the establishment of the event only

The NSWBA and its organisers are not responsible for any medical costs incurred by participants. The NSWBA does not accept any liability for personal injuries or for loss or damage or property belonging to event delegates either during or as a result of attending the event.

COVID-19 safety measures

By registering for this event, you agree to comply with any COVID-19 safety measures imposed by the NSWBA.

These may include, without limitation:

  • Social Distanced Dining
  • Attendees must be “fully vaccinated” (as defined in the Association’s vaccination policy as amended from time to time).
  • COVID-19 positive, close contacts, or those who have COVID-19-like symptoms, will not be admitted. Those who have COVID-19-like symptoms will also not be admitted except upon provision of a negative Rapid Antigen Test
  • Attendees must pre-register for the event, show their ticket at the door.
  • Attendees must notify the Association if they test positive to COVID-19 in the 7 days following the event by emailing events@nswbar.asn.au 

You further acknowledge that the NSWBA reserves the right to rescind the right of entry to ticket holders with minimal notice should the NSWBA determine that numbers need to be reduced or capped due to COVID-19 or any other WH&S considerations.

PRIVACY POLICY

Your personal information is being collected by the NSW Bar Association (NSWBA) to enable it to process your registration to attend the event and to promote other events and other related products and services to you. You warrant that you have obtained permission from any guests on whose behalf you have registered to share their personal information with the NSWBAIf you don’t provide the information requested the NSWBA will be unable to process your registration. The NSWBA Privacy Policy contains information about how you may access your personal information that is held by NSWBA and seek the correction of that information, as well as, information about how you may complain about any breach of the Australian Privacy Principles by NSWBA. A photographer may be present on the day/night to take pictures of all guests attending this event(s), these photos may be made available to all guest’s post-event. By completing this registration, you consent on behalf of yourself and your guests, to having photos taken. You are advised that photos taken may be used in NSWBA publications and for general advertising purposes, if you do not wish to have your photo taken please inform the NSWBA as well as the photographer on the night.
