Frequently Asked Questions

Question: Do I need to be admitted in order to sit the Bar exam?
Answer: No, you do not need to be admitted to the Supreme Court in order to sit the exam, however you do need to be admitted in order to attend the Bar Practice Course. 


Question: How do I register?
Answer: Please click on the 'Register' link available on the homepage or here - Register Now. To register, enter your contact details, answer the registration questions and submit payment.

Question: Can I register now and pay later?
Answer: No, you can commence registration and return to it at a later date, however, registration will only be confirmed and finalised once payment has been received. You will also only receive the exam materials once you have paid. 

Question: What fees do I need to pay?
Answer: $795.00. This fee is not refundable nor transferable from one examination period to the next.

Question: How can I pay for the exam?
Answer: The only payment method accepted is credit card (payments processed online). Your registration will not be confirmed until payment has been received.

Credit card payments should be made online - Visa, MasterCard and AMEX payments are currently accepted.

Once payments have been received you will be sent an email confirming your registration. A Tax Invoice is available at any time through the 'My Registration' section and will be updated once payment has been received.

Question: Can I still register after the close of registration?
Answer: No. Due to the amount of time we believe is required to prepare for the exams, we do not accept registrations after the close of registration date.
