COVID-19 Important Information

The date of the dinner is Friday 25 March 2022.

Updated COVID-19 safety measures for attendees;

By agreeing to attend this event, you agree to comply with any COVID-19 safety measures imposed by the NSWBA.

These may include, without limitation:

Social Distanced Dining

Attendees must be “fully vaccinated” (as defined in the Association’s vaccination policy as amended from time to time).

COVID-19 positive, close contacts, or those who have COVID-19-like symptoms, will not be admitted. Those who have COVID-19-like symptoms will also not be admitted except upon provision of a negative Rapid Antigen Test.

Attendees must pre-register for the event, show their ticket at the door and check-in using the Service NSW App if asked by staff on the day of the event.

Attendees must notify the Association if they test positive to COVID-19 in the 7 days following the event.

You further acknowledge that the NSWBA reserves the right to rescind the right of entry to ticket holders with minimal notice should the NSWBA determine that numbers need to be reduced or capped due to COVID-19 or any other WH&S considerations.

Please note the above information is all contingent on COVID mandates remaining as scheduled for 25 March 2022.

Full refunds will be available to any ticket holders whom are unable to attend on the new date, please forward a message to events@nswbar.asn.au where your request will be processed.

The NSWBA would like to make all attendees aware that where possible all preventative measures have, and will continue to be made in relation to the 2021 Bench & Bar Dinner. 

We understand that we are living in trying times and are doing our best to accommodate the needs of our members as well as others within the legal community. 

Detailed instructions regarding your attendance and COVID protocols for the night will be distributed closer to the date. We ask for all those attending that you listen to the directions of all NSWBA & Venue Staff whilst attending.

Where possible we will distribute all COVID related materials provided by the Hyatt Regency to attendees. 

In the meantime we ask that we all do the simple things such as maintaining social distancing as well as sanitising and washing your hands to help protect not only yourself but also those around you.

If you have recently attended a COVID Hot Spot prior to attending the Bench & Bar Dinner we ask that you inform the Association immediately by emailing events@nswbar.asn.au Similarly if you present with symptoms after attending and feel you could have been infectious we ask you notify us immediately.
